Understanding Dyslexia

Dyslexia affects approximately 10% of the global population, creating unique challenges in traditional learning environments.

Brain Development

Dyslexia stems from differences in brain development and functioning. Dyslexic individuals tend to think visually rather than textually, creating unique cognitive patterns.

Visual Thinking

Dyslexic learners process information visually. They often struggle with traditional text-based methods, having difficulty linking words to their corresponding objects and meanings.

Word Comprehension

Difficulty in comprehending text leads to an inability to link words to objects. Dyslexic learners may treat words as 'images,' sometimes creating non-existing words.

Writing Challenges

When words are perceived as images rather than sequences of letters, writing becomes a creative but inaccurate process, leading to invented spellings and word formations.

The Challenge We Address

"How might we help young dyslexic learners (ages 6–12) master a language in a fun, engaging, and effective way?"

Traditional Methods Fail

Conventional teaching approaches are not designed for visual thinkers, leaving dyslexic students frustrated and behind.

Disconnected Learning

There's a fundamental disconnect between how dyslexic children process information and how language is traditionally taught.

Emotional Impact

Repeated failure in traditional settings can damage self-esteem and motivation, creating a cycle that's hard to break.

User Manual

WORDCRAFT makes learning effortless — snap a photo, speak the word, upload, and watch it come to life in 3D!

WORDCRAFT User Manual - Take Photo, Upload, Play and Learn
1

Take Photo

Use the cute camera device to snap a photo of any real-world object. If you like it, keep it — if not, retake!

2

Speak & Save

Say the word aloud — the embedded microphone records your voice as the label for the object.

3

Upload Photo

Place the camera on the display hub. Your photo and audio are transmitted to the AI pipeline via WiFi.

4

AI Processing

Hunyuan AI generates a 3D model (.glb) from the 2D photo. Whisper STT transcribes your spoken label.

5

Play & Learn

Interact with your 3D holographic model on the touch-enabled display hub — rotate, sculpt, and learn!
